Short answer

HubSpot's customer feedback FAQ: you can't change the subscription type for survey emails; it's Customer Service Communication. After you unpublish an email survey, recipients can still answer for 14 days; link-based surveys don't expire unless unpublished. Contacts don't need to be marketing contacts to receive email surveys.
