Short answer

HubSpot's KB: custom email fonts are supported in Apple Mail and partly in Samsung Mail, but not in Gmail, Outlook or most mobile web clients. Those show the fallback, so pick a fallback with a similar x-height and weight. Google Fonts aren't available for custom modules in email templates.
